Design statement

My design intent is to create a space for residents and staff to feel at home, as the space feels like a hospital. My concept is to bring in shophouses from the past to show each individual spaces to represent different homes for different people with simple circulation, and to use antique furniture and warm welcoming colors to address the cold and sterile environment.
